If you’re coming overland, Nepal also shares borders with India and China. You can enter Nepal through several land border crossings, especially from cities like Delhi, Varanasi, and Lhasa.

• By Air: Direct international flights to Kathmandu from cities like Doha, Dubai, Delhi, Bangkok, Istanbul, Kuala Lumpur, and more.
• By Land: From India via border points such as Sunauli, Raxaul, and Kakarbhitta. From Tibet (China), the overland route through the Kerung border is also an option.

Travel Tips:

• Most travelers require a tourist visa, which is available on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport or online through the Department of Immigration Nepal.
• Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry.
• It’s best to book flights early during peak seasons (spring and autumn).
